Why wouldn’t you have to train like everyone else?
You are a Marine first and everything else second.
They have computer techs in infantry battalions.

check out MOS 2847 telephone, switchboard, and personal computer repair tech. they cover just about EVERYTHING that isnt a radio in TSPCIRC.

I heard that they make you retake the ASVAB once you get there b/c they don’t trust MEPS. If you do worse and are disqualified b/c of that score, well…you’re screwed. If they need you for infantry, they can legally take you out of your computer job and make you do infantry. But I haven’t heard of that happening.

Yes and Yes.
The Marines do not hire civilians to handle any sort of repair business, so you’ve gotta earn your insignia and go to boot camp just like everybody else if you want to fix their computers.
